Early Career
Katie has contributed extensively to the Aspen business landscape with the launch of a handful of companies. In 2002, she co-founded O2Aspen, a staple for wellness seekers in the community, and in 2005 she brought 212GALLERY onto the art scene, serving collectors from across the globe. In 2007, Katie joined forces with her husband to launch Aspen Luxury Brokers, leveraging her deep local connections and relationships with industry leaders, wealth managers, investors, artists, collectors, and the like to serve sophisticated families entering the Aspen market with a personalized approach to investing in luxury real estate.
In 2014, Katie combined her passions for real estate, art, and technology, co-founding online art-buying platform TWYLA alongside the founder of HomeAway (AWAY). Raising more than $23 million in funding from top-tier Silicon Valley VCs and private investors had a profound impact on expanding her already robust network while also helping her further hone her deep understanding and skill for negotiation, high-stakes investment processes, and marketing to a global audience.
